Spelling page

The Spelling page allows you to set properties related to spelling.

Check spelling checkbox

If this is checked, EmEditor checks spelling in documents.

Support camel case checkbox

If this is checked, EmEditor supports camel case while checking spelling in documents.

Check spelling in group box - All checkbox

Click this checkbox to toggle all check boxes below.

Check spelling in group box - Quoted lines checkbox

If this is checked, EmEditor checks spelling in quoted lines.

Check spelling in group box - Text enclosed in single quotation marks checkbox

If this is checked, EmEditor checks spelling in strings enclosed by single quotation marks.

Check spelling in group box - Text enclosed in double quotation marks checkbox

If this is checked, EmEditor checks spelling in strings enclosed by double quotation marks.

Check spelling in group box - Comments checkbox

If this is checked, EmEditor checks spelling in comments.

Check spelling in group box - Script checkbox

If this is checked, EmEditor checks spelling in script.

Check spelling in group box - Tags checkbox

If this is checked, EmEditor checks spelling in tags.

Check spelling in group box - Highlighted text checkbox

If this is checked, EmEditor checks spelling in highlighted text.

Check spelling in group box - Unspecified text checkbox

If this is checked, EmEditor checks spelling in unspecified text that is not covered by previous controls.

Reset button

Resets to default settings. The Reset dialog box will be displayed and will allow you to copy from another configuration.
